Welcome to Kensington Nursery School! A program of the Kensington Congregational Church, KNS offers a dynamic preschool experience that focuses on hands-on learning in a positive, child-centered environment.
2009-2010 Registration Time is Here!
KNS is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year! We currently have limited openings in both of our afternoon classes. The 2-day class (Tuesday & Thursday) is open to children who will be 3 years old by 12.31.2009, and the 3-day class (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) is for children who will be 4 years old by that date. Afternoon classes meet from 12:30-3:00 p.m. Find out all about registration on our registration page!
A Cooperative
KNS is a cooperative preschool. We incorporate parent involvement with our school day and in "behind-the-scenes" roles as well. As a KNS parent, you'll work side-by-side with our teachers on a rotating basis, enabling you to participate in your child's learning experience, get to know his/her classmates, and make new friends of your own as well. And because parent volunteers play such important roles in our school, we are able to keep our tuition low.
Sessions for 3- and 4-year-olds
We offer four sessions:
- 3-year-olds: Tuesday & Thursday morning, 9:00-11:30
- 3-year-olds: Tuesday & Thursday afternoon, 12:30-3:00
- 4-year-olds: Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning, 9:00-11:30
- 4-year-olds: Monday, Wednesday & Friday afternoon, 12:30-3:00
