Welcome to Kensington Nursery School! A program of the Kensington Congregational Church, KNS offers a dynamic preschool experience that focuses on hands-on learning in a positive, child-centered environment.

New Student Registration

KNS begins registration in January for the upcoming September - May school year and continues throughout the year! For more information, including specific due dates and open house sessions, see our Registration or Events pages!

Classes fill quickly --act now to reserve your spot. We offer openings in morning and afternoon classes. The 2-day class (Tuesday & Thursday) is open to children who will be 3 years old by December 31st of the enrolling year, and the 3-day class (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) is for children who will be 4 years old by that date.

A Cooperative

KNS is a cooperative preschool. We incorporate parent involvement with our school day and in "behind-the-scenes" roles as well. As a KNS parent, you'll work side-by-side with our teachers on a rotating basis, enabling you to participate in your child's learning experience, get to know his/her classmates, and make new friends of your own as well. And because parent volunteers play such important roles in our school, we are able to keep our tuition low.

Sessions for 3- and 4-year-olds

We offer four sessions:

• 3-year-olds: Tuesday & Thursday morning, 9:00-11:30
• 3-year-olds: Tuesday & Thursday afternoon, 12:30-3:00
• 4-year-olds: Monday, Wednesday & Friday morning, 9:00-11:30
• 4-year-olds: Monday, Wednesday & Friday afternoon, 12:30-3:00
